The toast still hit the floor, but at least it's *Jam* side up!
I am the proud at home Momma of three delicious (most of the time) children.
My three hooligans go from ages six years to eighteen months, which makes
for a busy and rambunctious house! We homeschool our hooligans simply to
add to the chaos and fun of our lives.
Faith is an integral part of our lives at home and in the workplace. We
strive to make God the centre of our lives and of our business.
While Bonnie and I are on separate sides of the continent, we came together
as friends, rejoicing in our similarities, and reveling in our differences.
Having a business together seemed to be the logical next step. I adore
Bonnie and have such fun working with her, even though we are miles and
miles apart.
People often ask me how I find the time to knit and sew, but I wonder how I
couldn't find the time. Knitting is relaxing... er... most of the time. I
learned how to knit and crochet from my Gramma who is a Jill of all trades.
She taught me "old style", which means a lot of sweat, a lot of tears, and a
lot of frogging. I give her the credit for my ability to take a flat piece
of material and make it into something functional and beautiful. Or to take
a piece of string, a couple of sticks, and voila! An outfit!
It's difficult for mother's to have something that is their own. Especially
with young children hanging around. Creating, for me, is something that I
can do for myself and be proud of. I love to be able to share that with
other momma's who appreciate the awesome workmanship of a handcrafted item.

but because I can see all that it touches." C.S. Lewis*
